• To formulate timely programmes and policies that encourage educational promotion of Hindi
• Maximum use of latest information and communication media and language technology for Hindi language teaching and distance education
• Widespread use and promotion of Hindi Unicode
• Developed web portal and multilingual multipurpose websites of the Institute
• Establishing the importance of local culture along with established means of language teaching-training and promotion
• Organizing films, folk dramas, literary and cultural programs to fulfill language teaching and coordination objectives
• Preservation of Hindi vernacular languages and local languages/dialects and literature of non-Hindi regions
• Active engagement with institutions and universities across the world and establishment of new centres in India and abroad as required
• Proper support from institutions with limited resources dedicated to the development of Hindi
• Creation and running of standardized Hindi courses
