Introduction

Central Hindi Institute, Agra is an autonomous educational institution established in 1961 by the Department of Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. It is run by the autonomous organization Central Hindi Teaching Board. The institute is headquartered in Agra and has eight regional centers: Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Shillong, Mysore, Dimapur, Bhubaneswar and Ahmedabad.

The Central Hindi Institute , Bhubaneswar Centre is being run in the premises of Government Boys High School , Unit-9 , Bhubaneswar, allotted by the Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha. Its area of operation is Odisha , West Bengal , Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. Refresher courses are organized for Hindi teachers and Hindi propagators of the states falling under the area of operation of the Centre and for Hindi teachers from primary to secondary level of other voluntary organizations. Through these refresher programmes, Hindi teachers are introduced to new techniques of language teaching.
