Ahmedabad

Introduction

In the non-Hindi speaking states of the country, untrained Hindi teachers cannot come to the institute or its affiliated or equivalent training colleges for training for the whole year. For this purpose, the institute established Ahmedabad Center. This center organizes refresher courses for Hindi teachers of primary, secondary and higher secondary schools.

Ahmedabad
Establishment

Ahmedabad Centre was established on 31st March 2006 along with other centres Dimapur (2003) and Bhubaneshwar (2003) under the grand plans of Kendriya Hindi Sansthan. For a long time, the institute had been feeling that Hindi teachers working in various schools and colleges of Gujarat state were being deprived of training, to fill this gap, the institute took an important step and established Ahmedabad Centre. Before the establishment of this centre (2006), Gujarat, Daman and Diu region were associated with Hyderabad Centre. For some time, the programmes of this centre were also run by the headquarters.
